Job Summary (Essential Functions)
As a Security Guard at the Club, you are responsible for the safety and security of all Guest, Team Members, contractors, and visitors while at the Club. A Security Guard is also responsible for the safety and security of the Club premises. Specifically, the Security Guard will perform the following tasks at the highest level of service:
Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)
1. Maintains the security and safety of the Club, Guests, and Team Members and their property by providing constant vigilance in and around the hotel premises.
2. Runs Routine inspections of the hotel premises
3. Acts promptly in the event of a circumstance that requires attention
4. Assist management in dealing with any incidents that arise within the hotel
5. Follows all occupational Health & Safety rules upheld by the Club
6. Inspects suspicious objects carried by employees to and from work
7. Enforces all rules and regulations of club which govern employees
8. Administers and first aid if necessary
9. Prevents unauthorized vehicles and people from using parking, prevents trespassing onto Club property, and continuously patrols all of the Clubs dwellings.
10. Notes any deficiencies in Club’s security measure and reports them to the Clubhouse Manager or the Facility Maintenance Engineer.
11. Locks and unlocks building to prepare for staff and membership
12. Allows Fitness Center usage during off hours
13. Cleans up where necessary when come upon things that were left out
14. Turns on clubhouse lighting at the beginning of the shift and back off at the end of the shift
15. Allows membership to use club property during normal operating hours
16. Interfaces with local law enforcement
17. Maintains accurate log of all security staff activities and monitor CCTV Cameras
18. Various duties assigned by management
Qualifications
1. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
2. Ability to print and speak simple phrases and sentences
3. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other employees of the organization
4. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Work Experience
1. One year security experience preferred
