Description of the role: The Human Resource Assistant position at AmeriCare - Silicon Valley is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR Manager. The role primarily focuses on tasks related to ATS platforms, onboarding, I9 verification, 401k, payroll, and other HR processes. Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management and administration of the ATS platforms, ensuring accurate and up-to-date candidate data
• Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including organizing orientation sessions, preparing necessary documentation, and ensuring a smooth transition
• Handle the completion and processing of I9 forms in accordance with legal requirements
• Support the HR Manager in managing the 401k program, including employee enrollments, contributions, and addressing inquiries
• Assist with various payroll-related tasks, such as maintaining employee records, processing timesheets, and resolving payroll discrepancies
• Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing documents, answering phone calls, and scheduling meetings

Requirements:

• Prior experience in HR or administrative role is preferred
• Familiarity with ATS platforms and systems
• Knowledge of onboarding processes and I9 compliance
• Understanding of 401k programs and regulations
• Ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
