About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Operations Manager to lead the essential functions of shipping, receiving, and inventory control for one of our valued clients. This role ensures that all materials and products are accurately handled to support smooth operations and maintain supply chain efficiency.
As part of a collaborative team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Management
Oversee the receiving process to verify incoming materials align with purchase orders and quality standards.
Unpack, inspect, and document materials while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Prepare and package shipments, ensuring documentation accuracy and timely delivery through platforms like UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers.
Implement and maintain First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory principles, and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
Operational Excellence
Identify and address nonconforming materials and manage RMAs for damages or warranty claims.
Work closely with purchasing and project teams to align inventory with business needs and coordinate deliveries.
Monitor inventory to highlight slow-moving or excess stock and recommend solutions to sales and management teams.
Proactively develop and implement process improvements to address operational challenges.
Compliance and Safety
Complete all required training on quality and safety protocols.
Adhere to workplace safety standards to maintain a secure and organized environment.
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to manage logistical challenges.
Proficiency in inventory systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Ability to lift and move items up to 75 pounds and efficiently track equipment within the warehouse.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred but not required).
