About the Role
As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for managing and leading the national B2B sales teams. Your focus will be on overseeing revenue generation and executing strategic initiatives to foster growth. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with local General Managers (GMs) to align sales efforts with regional operations, ensuring a coordinated and high-performance approach. While we are ideally seeking candidates with strong B2B sales experience in the building materials or manufacturing sectors, we are open to exceptional candidates from related industries.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a high-performing national B2B sales team, focusing on optimizing performance and driving significant revenue growth.
Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to expand market share and exceed annual growth targets.
Collaborate closely with local GMs, ensuring alignment between sales initiatives and operational goals for seamless execution and results.
Analyze key sales metrics and trends to optimize performance, ensuring the team is on track to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners within the building materials sector.
Drive accountability within the sales team, ensuring performance goals are met with a clear focus on growth and profitability.
Bring fresh leadership and strategic vision to an established team, helping them reach new heights of success.
Who You Are
A proven VP of Sales or Senior Sales Leader with strong B2B sales experience, ideally in building materials, manufacturing, or a related sector.
A strategic thinker who can quickly grasp industry dynamics and apply best practices to drive performance.
Comfortable working in a matrix leadership structure, focusing on sales strategy and metrics while local GMs manage operations.
A data-driven leader with a track record of leveraging performance metrics to drive growth and accountability.
A strong communicator who can inspire, motivate, and lead a diverse, multi-regional sales team to success.
Willing to relocate or already based in the SeaTac, WA area.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $250,000 - $300,000
Performance Bonus: 10% for meeting targets, with potential for up to 30% for exceeding aggressive growth targets.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): 30% vested over time.
Relocation Package: A full relocation package is available for top candidates willing to move to SeaTac, WA.
