Salary: 104,650 - 189,175 USD per year Requirements: ~ I am looking for a United States citizen with a current TS/SCI with Polygraph. ~ I require a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 years of applicable experience, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree. ~ A current DoD 8570 certification applicable to the position (typically Security+) is needed. ~ I expect 5+ years of experience performing Tier 2 software maintenance on mission-critical systems. ~ Proven experience with one or more of the following technical disciplines is essential: ~- Current and legacy software development languages and tools (i.e. C, C++, Java, XMIDAS) ~- Unix, Linux, or Windows operating systems, including shell scripting ~- Enterprise management tools ~- Enterprise storage management and configuration ~- Database management systems and tools (i.e. Oracle, MySQL) ~- TCP/IP networking in an enterprise environment ~- Information system security, including IAVA management and ICD 503 compliance ~ Experience supporting configuration management, change management, and service transition is required. ~ I value excellent verbal and written communication skills. ~ The proven ability to work collaboratively and constructively as part of a team is essential. ~ You must be willing to perform call-in support as required. Responsibilities: I will have you ensure the availability of mission processors through proactive Tier 2 SW maintenance. You will lead the performance of incident and problem management to resolve or escalate issues. Supporting configuration management and change management activities will be part of your role. I expect you to support service transitions, including migrations to cloud infrastructure. Leading request fulfillment activities, including account management and configuration changes, will be required. You will coordinate with other software maintenance, operations, and engineering contracts as necessary. I expect you to lead and ensure the documentation of all work performed via the ticketing system. Creating, updating, or enhancing maintenance and operations documentation will also be part of your duties. You will ensure the security of mission processors and IT infrastructure. Providing call-in support as required will also be part of your responsibilities.
