Job Description
Genesis10 is seeking a QA - Automated Test Engineer for a hybrid contract position with a leading client located in Cranberry, PA.
Job Duties:
- Understand software requirements, develop test plan, and test cases.
- Identify, Prioritize, and track defects.
Requirements: - Having experience and proficiency in creating the test scenarios, test cases, requirements review and peer review
- Having knowledge and hands on experience at least 2+ year with Eggplant or any UI automation framework.
- Ability to learn and use automated testing tools
- Knowledge and understanding of system, project testing strategies, approaches
- Hands on experience working with Retail and Supply Chain domain; specifically Point of Sale
- Good communication and articulation skills and experience of working with global teams
- Collaborate with other team members on various aspects of development/integration testing etc. to deliver the feature on time with quality.
- Design, develop and maintain automation test scripts using Eggplant
- Design and write automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
- At least two years of software testing experience.
- Strong knowledge of software development process, along with software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Good documentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft's Word and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, written and spoken communication skills.
- Needs to possess strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment and working in agile teams.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, Azure Dev OPS
