Guardian Tax is looking for a seasoned Tax Preparer!

You'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, from growing startups to established enterprises, providing expert guidance that shapes their financial futures.

The Role:

• Craft Individual & Business Tax Returns : Ensure accuracy and timely submission while keeping things running smoothly.
• Prioritize and Hustle : Tackle cases with a keen eye and a strong work ethic.
• Communicate with Clients : Guide them through tax prep and keep them informed about necessary paperwork.
• Earn Bonuses : Grab up to $800 extra per month!

What You Bring to the Table:

• Must-have: CTEC and PTIN
• 2+ years Experience
• Business Tax Returns experience Preferred
  
• Familiar with Schedules A, B, C, D, preparation and nuances
• Experience with amended returns and PRO-Series tax software
• Ability to use analysis to ask meaningful fact-finding questions when presented with limited tax information/source documents.
• Knowledge of accounting processes preferred
• Skilled using tax preparation software and experienced in troubleshooting common tax program problems.
• Book keeping is a huge bonus
• Proficient computer skills
• Experience consulting tax handbooks or other printed materials to determine the proper procedure for preparing challenging returns.
• Strong written and communications skills
