Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Structural Engineer to join our fast-growing Repair and Renovation Division! You will be working on investigation, design, inspection, analysis, and detailing tasks out of both our Tysons, VA and Washington, DC offices!

Requirements

• BS degree with emphasis on structural design, MS degree a plus
• 5+ years of experience in structural design
• Working knowledge of steel, concrete, or wood design
• Strong Revit skills with analysis and computer modeling experience (RAM products, CSI products, etc.)
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced office
• Ability to add value to work products
• Eagerness to learn and desire to grow in your career
• Ability to perform field investigations, inspections, and travel to job sites throughout the U.S.
• Candidates must be able to perform physical duties to carry out the job requirements which include, but are not limited to:
• Ability to lift a minimum 50 lbs of equipment
• Ability to use safety experience and follow safety protocols
• Must have access to a vehicle, hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to various offices and project sites within the Metro DC area
• Ability to work at heights and to use ladders and other access equipment like lifts, swing stages, and scaffolding
• Ability to work in challenging indoor and outdoor conditions
