Job Description

We are seeking a creative and organized Social Media Manager to join our Watkins Construction & Roofing marketing team. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Marketing Specialist and Videographer to create, plan, and execute dynamic social media content across various platforms. You will play a key role in developing and implementing social media strategies, driving engagement, and building brand awareness while ensuring all content aligns with our overall marketing goals. Responsibilities:

  • Design Creation: Create and design visually compelling designs that communicate our brand's message and engage our audiences.
  • Content Collaboration: Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist and Videographer to develop and execute content strategies tailored to each social media platform (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Social Media Campaigns: Plan, execute, and monitor social media campaigns to drive engagement, increase followers, and support marketing objectives.
  • Content Planning Scheduling: Maintain a content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of posts, stories, and videos across platforms.
  • Collaboration with Videographer: Work alongside the Videographer to create engaging, high-quality video content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Engagement Community Management: Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions across social media platforms to foster community engagement.
  • Analytics Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on social media performance, using insights to optimize future content and campaigns.
  • Trend Research: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the brand remains innovative and relevant.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with the Senior Marketing Specialist to align social media efforts with email marketing, paid ads, and other promotional activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in managing social media platforms, creating content, and growing online communities.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices and trends across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a passion for social media and digital marketing.
