Job Description

 

Job Title: Social Impact Associate

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Shift: M-F 8-5

Type: Contract (16 months)

Pay: $40-50/hour depending upon experience



Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business, communications, philanthropy, non-profit management or related fields or 5 years minimum experience
  • Additional Skills Desired:
    • Experience in developing and managing complex projects
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
    • Strong research, analysis, and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in using various software applications, databases, and other technological tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Sharepoint, PowerPoint), data management, and online communication platforms.
    • Passion and commitment to making a positive impact
    • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain a high level of ethical conduct and confidentiality
    • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated teamwork and collaboration abilities
    • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and ability to thrive in dynamic environments

Responsibilities:

  • The Social Impact Project Associate is responsible for mapping and documenting all Employee Engagement Volunteer and Giving Program and supporting Employee Engagement Programs. This role will also play a crucial role in driving and supporting new and ongoing initiatives aimed at maximizing our social impact.

  • Process Documentation: Lead a project to map and document existing Social Impact programs and processes to create a playbook for onboarding and operations.

  • Communication: Assisting in maintaining effective communication strategy for Employees to be informed of Volunteer and Giving Opportunities.

  • Support Employee Volunteerism and Giving Programs: Assist in the coordination and promotion of employee volunteer opportunities. Create Program toolkits. Manage volunteer rosters, schedules, and communications to ensure a smooth and rewarding volunteer experience.

  • Help design and create support new Employee Engagement initiatives.

  • Marketing Volunteer Opportunities: Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote volunteer opportunities internally.

  • Assist in the implementation of process improvement efforts.
