Our ideal candidate has experience on highway and bridge projects throughout NJ with agencies such as NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA, DRPA, DRJTBC, and/or experience with Local County and State agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Prepare daily reports, quantity measurements and computations, project progress updates and pay reports.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship to confirm adherence to contractual and regulatory standards.
• Proactively communicate with the contractor and the client to progress the project in a timely manner to meet the project goals. 

Job Requirements:

• NICET III-IV Certification or Valid Professional Engineers license in the State of New Jersey is required.
• EIT or B.S. in Civil Engineering is a plus. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction inspection 
• ACI, NJSAT, TCC, CCTC, and/or OSHA 10 Preferred.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, plans, and specifications, as well as familiarity with inspection tools and software.
• Experience with inspection of Federal-aid projects and relevant certifications is not required but is a plus.
• Experience with bridge construction is a plus.
• Experience with NJTA Capex or NJDOT Site Manager is not required but is a plus.
• Able to work overtime, some nights, or weekends as needed.
• Ability to drive to and from, on, or around a project site during all times of the day.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License
