Award winning Environmental Site Investigation and Remediation Consulting firm utilizing innovative and traditional technologies to achieve site resolution and closures; actively seeks Senior Environmental Geologist (PG) to take on Environmental Project Manager level role within our Santa Barbara, Ventura, or Burbank California office.
Our environmental staff provide services from conceptual planning through investigation; data analysis; technology testing, design, and construction; and site restoration. We perform work at active DoD installations where we work with all security protocols and coordinate with base authorities and other base operations. With over 25 years of experience serving DoD, EPA, and other agencies, we specialize in deliver work at federal facilities.
We strive to anticipate our customers needs with an eye towards for safety, quality, cost and schedule control, and outstanding technical performance. Our investigation, remediation, and restoration services include:
- Remedial investigations / feasibility studies
- RCRA facility investigations and corrective measures studies
- Risk assessments

Senior Environmental Geologist / Environmental Project Manager Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years of previous experience in planning and/or executing environmental investigation and remediation projects
Demonstrated Environmental Project Management level skills and experience
Bachelors degree in geology, civil/environmental engineering, environmental science or related field
Professional Geologist (PG) or similar professional registration/certification relevant to the type of services and projects being managed
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to environmental project sites, as needed
Experience in reviewing and editing technical writing and regulatory reports
Proficiency in MS Office products to include: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Previous involvement in preparing or contributing to project proposals and managing project budgets
Demonstrated professional judgement, consistency and attention to detail with track record of high quality work products
Experience in successful leadership of diverse field teams
HAZWOPER 40-hour, and current on 8-hour refresher
Preferred Qualification: Previous experience and familiarity with CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, SDWA and various DoD branch (i.e., USACE, Navy, U.S. Air Force) regulations and reporting requirements are a plus
Senior Environmental Geologist / Environmental Project Manager Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate environmental project staff and subcontractors to ensure safe, cost effective, efficient and timely completion of projects that meet and/or exceed our clients expectations
Serve as environmental technical lead and manage large/complex environmental projects involving soil, groundwater, and soil vapor assessment and remediation
Adept at authoring work plans and reports pertaining to complex multi-faceted environmental projects, as well as performing senior level QC of project documents authored by other team members.
Ability to work in a team environment, as well as the skills necessary to operate as a primary staff member or practitioner on various types of environmental projects
Assist in business development and preparation of proposals, including developing technical approaches and pricing
Supervision of environmental support personnel and assistance in staff development/mentoring in technical areas
Client management, including managing client expectations and maintaining routine communication with clients and regulatory agencies
Proven track record of developing and maintaining client relationships
