Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:

Senior Cyber Security Analyst
Location: McLean, VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Compensation: Competitive, Excellent Benefits

As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and remediating vulnerabilities and weaknesses across networks and systems. This is a mission-critical and very tactical role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
  • Collaborate with other cyber defense teams to maintain continuous situational awareness of current and emerging cyber threats.
  • Analyze data to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our client's systems and networks.
  • Provide detailed remediation and mitigation plans, and track those plans via Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Plan, prepare and execute tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements as well as analyze/report test results.
  • Conduct research on threat actors, malware, exploit methods, and vulnerabilities to stay up-to-date on current cyber threats.
  • Perform assessments of systems and networks within the network environment or enclave and identify where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Measure effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities.
  • Provide input on the implementation of processes, procedures, and technical solutions to mature the operational program, and team cadence.
  • Assist in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e. NISPOM, DCID 6/3), and may make recommendations on process tailoring.
  • Collaborate with Peers to identify and address cyber gaps and develop solutions to address needs.
  • Periodically conduct a review of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed.
  • Provides guidance and leadership to less-experienced cybersecurity personnel.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience with offensive cyber activities, such as exploiting digital data, and then summarizing the resulting findings.
  • Possess a related Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or a related field.
  • Experience with network forensics, network administration, investigative data analysis, and mobile networks.
  • Strong understanding of types of vulnerabilities, network attacks, and current industry threats.
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and tools.
  • Ability to travel locally and nationally as needed.
  • DESIRED: Certifications in cybersecurity or related fields (e.g. CISSP, CEH).
  • DESIRED: Experience with vulnerability management tools and platforms.
  • DESIRED: Experience with tools including Confluence, ServiceNow, JIRA, Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel.
