Senior Android/iOS Developer Description

We are looking for a Senior Android/iOS Developer to join our dynamic team.

As a Senior Mobile Developer at EPAM, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS and Android applications. Your expertise will contribute to creating seamless and engaging user experiences, delivering high-performing, scalable, and responsive applications for our clients across both platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin, ensuring performance, scalability, and responsiveness
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to develop and enhance product features while following best coding practices
• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and cross-functional teams to implement ideas from concept to delivery, ensuring consistency and high-quality user experience
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to enhance development efficiency, app performance, and scalability

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in mobile development (Android and iOS)
• Strong knowledge of Git for version control
• Proficiency in Kotlin for Android development and familiarity with Swift for iOS development
• Proficiency in Android Jetpack Compose and XML layouts, with a strong familiarity with SwiftUI, UIKit
• Experience with UI/UX design principles for both platforms, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience
• Solid experience with TDD, unit testing, and familiarity with testing frameworks
• Familiarity with Jetpack, Android Architecture Components, and Coroutines for asynchronous programming (Android)
• Experience with Gradle, Fastlane, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices (iOS)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher
• Experience with performance tuning, memory management, and profiling tools
• Ability to work on both platforms, with the flexibility to quickly adapt and your skills as needed to meet project demands
