What you’ll be doing...

Within the Verizon Global Services (VGS) organization, this position will be responsible for supporting IT Audits, Compliance and InfoSec areas. As part of this team this position will need to work across diverse organizations within VGS, Legal, Internal Audit, Security, etc.

The roles & responsibilities are as follows:

• Oversee Global IT Audit impacts including tracking, managing and reporting on audit action plans from observation to remediation

• Perform analysis on internal audit observations and share results across CIO teams to drive proactive remediation

• With partnership of CIO team POCs, project manage hundreds of internal audits across six CIO teams within Global Technology Solutions team

• Compliance area with corporate information security standard, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), legal, governmental & regulatory data security and controls

• Provide support to Compliance activities

• Knowledge in infrastructure, development, security and support will be beneficial to this role

• Participate in compliance Security and Legal reviews when required

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Experience in IT compliance, security and infrastructure.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong knowledge of project planning and management.

• Strong Project management skills.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Prior experience with tools like ServiceNow, Smartsheets, Tableau, Looker

• GRC and Automation experience

• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Google

• Experience with vendor management

• Telecom experience

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
