We are seeking a professional and vigilant Security Officer to join our team in Washington, United States. This part-time position involves working overnight shifts and weekends to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets.

• Patrol designated areas on foot or in a vehicle to monitor and report suspicious activities
• Control access to the facility by checking identification and issuing visitor badges
• Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems, responding promptly to any alerts
• Conduct regular security checks of buildings, grounds, and parking areas
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of all security-related activities
• Assist in emergency situations, including coordinating with local law enforcement when necessary
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid security officer license for the state of Washington
• Strong observation and reporting skills
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Proficiency in using security equipment (e.g., surveillance systems, radios)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Physical fitness and ability to stand/walk for extended periods
• Basic computer skills for report writing and communication
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement (preferred)
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
• Familiarity with local laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment in high-pressure situations
• Flexibility to work part-time, including overnight shifts and weekends
