Come be part of our Rooms Team as the Overnight Security Officer at the Grand Hyatt DFW located in Terminal D of the DFW Airport.

The Security Officer is primarily responsible for the oversight of safety and security of the hotel. This person will respond to guest and colleague emergencies, and complete incident reports.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Guest communication
• Ensure all safety and security policies are followed
• Coordinate between other department operations to ensure efficient and high level of guest service
• Security rounds throughout property
• Incident reporting
• Emergency response
• De-escalating any guest concerns
• Addressing security risks
• Overall support of the operation

Qualifications:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• 1-3 years of security experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
• Must have flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays. Shift time is 11pm-7:30am.
