Selective Placement Factor required for this position: Must have completed the Uniformed Police Training Program, Criminal Investigator Training Program or another approved program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC), or a substantially similar program as approved by the Secretary or the Secretary's designee to being authorized to exercise the powers set forth in 40 U.S.C. 1315 (b)(2). Physical Demands: The work is sedentary and is usually accomplished comfortably seated at a desk or table. Some walking and standing may occur during a normal workday in connection with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the work site. Items carried typically are light objects such as briefcases, notebooks, and data processing reports. Lifting of moderately heavy objects is not normally required.
