Job Summary
The Business Solutions Developer II is responsible for the planning, designing and implementation of business applications. The Business Solutions Developer’s main role is to support organizational vision and goals with technical solutions and architectures using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software or Marketing Management software (Oracle Financials, Salesforce, HubSpot, Acumatica etc.) or other application software.
Responsibilities
• Work in an Agile Test-Driven environment to understand requirements, design, code and test innovative applications, and support those applications.
• Work across the entire system architecture, from backend to front end, to design, develop, and support high quality, scalable products and interfaces.
• Produce clean scalable code using Industry Standard Technologies to develop solutions.
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software
• Integrate software components and third-party applications
• Ensure code changes are properly reviewed and checked in to approved version control system (SVN, GIT)
• Ensure code follows established coding standards
• Provide hands-on support to migrate applications, resolve issues, track progress and contribute to expanding the knowledge base.
• Regularly find areas of improvement for data cleansing and analytics and reporting performance. Encourage a culture of data driven decision making
• Continuous learning is a must as well as staying current with business operations, internal systems, technology and industry trends
Must have skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field of study
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience with the following technologies:
o VB.NET / C# / ASP.NET
o Model-View-Controller (MVC)
o Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
o Angular
o Oracle/SQL
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience using business software applications such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software programs (Oracle Financials, Acumatica or others) and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software or Marketing Management Software (Salesforce, HubSpot)
