Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and building plans to determine specifications and necessary materials.
• Construct and install wooden frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames.
• Measure and cut materials to precise dimensions using hand and power tools.
• Ensure structural integrity by following safety protocols and building codes.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing structures as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience as a framer or in a similar construction role.
• Strong knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
