Locations: Davie, FL & Miami, FL |  Job Type: Full-time |  Schedule: 10:00am–6:30pm or 10:30am–7:00pm, Monday–Friday

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced,  mid-senior level Psychiatric & Family Nurse Practitioner with dual qualifications in both  psychiatric and family medicine to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of post-licensure experience , including hands-on experience with  adolescents, their families, and substance use disorders . You will be responsible for managing mental health and primary care needs, prescribing medications, and supervising clinical teams.

This is a dynamic role that combines psychiatric care, family medicine, and medication management, making it ideal for a dual-qualified professional ready to take on both clinical and supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct  comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and  medical assessments for adolescents, adults, and families.
• Develop and implement  individualized treatment plans , collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Prescribe and manage medications for mental health and medical conditions, including daily medications for adolescents.
• Supervise clinical staff, providing guidance and support in treatment delivery and clinical best practices.
• Offer psychoeducation to clients and families on  mental health conditions, medical treatment , and  self-management strategies .
• Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal results.
• Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and other team members to provide  integrated care .
• Ensure  timely and accurate documentation of all client interactions, in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide leadership and oversight in creating a  supportive clinical environment for staff and clients.

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted certification as a  Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)and  Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) .
• Minimum of 2+ years of post-licensure experience in psychiatric and family medicine.
• Experience with adolescents , families,  substance use treatment , and  daily medication management .
• Proven experience in prescribing medications and managing complex mental health and medical conditions.
• Prior  supervisory experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
• Strong ability to  integrate psychiatric care with family medical care , providing holistic treatment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work  in-person at both Davie and Miami locations .
• Florida APRN license required.

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
• Experience with  trauma-informed care and  collaborative care models .

• Compensation: Dependent on experience
