The Production Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support for the Tinley Park Paper Plant, focusing on order entry, shipping documentation, transportation coordination, purchasing, and general office tasks.

What You’ll do:

• Purchase and schedule the receipt of cases, adhesives, pallets, and packaging materials.
• Communicate with customers and vendors to provide order status updates, coordinate scheduling, and resolve issues.
• Review and approve Paper Plant invoices.
• Enter and process orders in the order management system.
• Prepare shipping documents and arrange transportation for products.
• Generate reports and track key production and operational data.
• Maintain equipment shipping and build schedules.

What You’ll Need:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of related experience
• Understanding of production, operations, and/or manufacturing processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels.
• Basic proficiency in fractions and high school-level math.

Pay Range: The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location, and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
 
$22 - $27 per hour
