Summary

Francios Academy is seeking a dedicated and responsible Van Driver to join our team and help ensure the safe transportation of children to and from our preschool.

As a Preschool Van Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of the children in our care. You will be responsible for transporting children to and from our preschool, field trips, and other scheduled activities in a safe and efficient manner.

Duties

• Safely transport children to and from the preschool, following all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the daycare van, conducting routine inspections and reporting any issues.
• Ensure that all children are securely fastened in their seats with appropriate child safety restraints.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with parents, children, and daycare staff.
• Follow established pick-up and drop-off schedules to ensure punctuality.
• Communicate effectively with parents and daycare staff regarding any changes or delays in transportation.
• Be prepared to respond to any emergencies or accidents and follow safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of daily transportation activities and report any incidents or issues to the daycare management.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Continue education on safety regulations related to child transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• A caring and patient attitude towards children.

• Prior experience in driving, especially transporting children, is a plus.
