Main Responsibilities for a Dishwasher:
Prep Cook Job Description: we have a vacant spot for a well-organized Prep cook. Our restaurant is fast-paced, and we expect you to be able to work as part of a team. Your main duties will include washing and preparing vegetables used in salads and sandwiches, prepping meats and preparing onion rings and zucchini. There may also be some dishwashing and cleaning to ensure prep area is kept clean. You will also be responsible for putting away our daily food deliveries.
Our goal is to employ a person with excellent time management, can multitask and work quickly. You should be able to prioritize tasks. You will be working in a kitchen for most of your workday. This means that you will also have to follow food safety procedures and regulations.
Responsibilities of a Prep cook:
● wash and prepare vegetables used in salads, sandwiches and burgers
● Using slicer to prepare sandwich meats
● Preparing onion rings and zucchini
● Cleaning kitchen appliances and machines
● Helping other team members to unload and store deliveries
● Assist other staff members with tasks when the need arises
● Adhere to food safety procedures and regulations
● Taking out the trash
Prep Cook Job Requirements:
● Preferred experience as a dishwasher or prep coo, but not required
● Must have a good attitude and willing to learn
● Food Handlers card required once hired
