Job Description

Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or experienced Neonatal Physician Assistant to join our busy practice in Winter Haven Women's Hospital. Live the lake lifestyle in sunny c entral Florida!

Job Description:

  • NNP Candidates:
    - Board Certified APRN national specialty certification NNP (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)
    - Minimum of a Master s Degree
    - 2+ years of current NNP work experience (not including training or as RN)

    PA Candidates:
    - Minimum of a Master's Degree
    - Board Certified through NCCPA
    - Completion of a Neonatal PA training program is highly preferred
    - 2+ years of current PA work experience in NICU (not including training)

  • Services provided at Winter Haven Women's Hospital which is part of the BayCare Health System
  • The hospital is the area's premier health facility dedicated to the unique needs of women and newborns
  • 11-bed, Level-II NICU with 236 annual NICU admissions
  • 2-physician practice, supported by affiliated BayCare practice in Tampa
  • 16-hour shifts
  • Additional hours for additional pay are available
  • Licensing and credentialing are provided at no cost
  • Not accepting new graduate candidates - CURRENT 2+ years' work experience in NICU (not including RN or training) is required
  • Not accepting Locums candidates
  • These are permanent positions that may require residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. To be discussed at interview.

  • Clean malpractice/licensing history - HIGHLY PREFERRED
PA Candidates:
  • Minimum of a Master's Degree (note completed education level in "Additional Submission Requirements") - REQUIRED
  • Board Certified through NCCPA - REQUIRED
  • FL license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
  • Completion of a Neonatal PA training program (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) - HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • 2+ years of current PA work experience (not including training) in Neonatal ICU (note in "Experience" field) - REQUIRED
  • Clean malpractice/licensing history - HIGHLY PREFERRED
