Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network architectures with a focus on Cisco technologies.
Analyze existing network infrastructure to identify performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.
Implement and optimize QoS (Quality of Service) to prioritize critical traffic, including VoIP and video conferencing.
Design and enforce robust network security policies, including firewall configurations, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access control.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network projects, migrations, and upgrades.
Monitor network performance, availability, and resilience, and propose corrective measures for improvement.
Maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Provide recommendations for network capacity planning and future technology adoption.
Support troubleshooting for complex network issues and provide guidance to network operations teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field .
Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE preferred.
Proven experience in network design, configuration, and optimization within enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, MPLS, etc.).
Hands-on experience with network security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
Expertise in QoS, VoIP, and video conferencing protocols .
Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, NetFlow analyzers).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Strong communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
