At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions. Those in international tax at PwC will provide advice and guidance to clients on structuring their global tax positions. Your work will involve analysing international tax laws and regulations to develop strategies that optimise tax efficiency and minimise risks for multinational businesses.

You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality. The Opportunity

As part of the LLM team you are expected to advise U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations and coordinate U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop an advantageous worldwide tax strategy. As a Senior Associate you are expected to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain rigorous standards. You are expected to focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, while navigating increasingly complex situations to grow your personal brand and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

- Advise multinational companies on international tax implications

- Coordinate U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws

- Develop worldwide tax strategies

- Analyze intricate problems and provide solutions

- Mentor and support junior team members

- Build and foster client relationships

What You Must Have

- Master of Laws

- Required Cumulative GPA: 3.0

- Knowledge of international tax research and consulting

- Advising on tax implications of international operations

- Coordinating U.S. and foreign tax laws

- Understanding government practices and procedures

- Application of U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws

- Preparation and processing of private letter rulings

The salary range for this position is: $84,000 - $202,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
