Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift
Twinsburg, OH
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Tentative Shift Start Time: 11:00 PM
Tentative Shift End Time: 7:00 AM
Perform a wide variety of mechanical and electrical maintenance work of a skilled and complex nature. Installs, repairs, and maintains manufacturing equipment and plant facilities necessary for satisfactory operation of equipment and processes. This position is moderately physical.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties.
Determines repair procedures and implements those repairs that will be effective in preventing reoccurrence.
Can navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for the purpose of troubleshooting equipment faults.
Can modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots. Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.
Installs, moves, and aligns new and existing equipment.
Sets up and operates various types of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency.
Performs both gas and electric welding operations.
Completes related machine repair records, performs associated handling duties, and maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.
Performs all necessary preventive and proactive tasks on plant equipment.
Performs other related duties as assigned by supervision and/or designated team leader.
Skills Required:

Experience Required:
4 years of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding.
Maintenance Technician "A" level must be proficient at troubleshooting die casting machine cells through the use of PLC's and electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Education Required:
Must be able to apply principles acquired through technical or vocational subjects (certificates or some college courses)
Additional Information:
Manager is looking to direct hire this position if it is the right candidate. Pay rate up to $37.00/HR depending on the candidate's skill set and experience not more than that. Sign on bonus is also available effective upon hire or conversion with the signing of a promissory note for 1 year.
