We are seeking a Lead Recovery Coach to join our rapidly growing team. Ria Health, recognized as the leading national telehealth provider specializing in alcohol use disorder (AUD) treatment, recently raised $18 million in Series A led by SV Health Investors, LLC. The investment will further the momentum of commercial partnerships that include regional and national health plans, including Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealth Group Optum, Beacon Health Options, Highmark Health, and Magellan Health.

The Ria program is delivered through telehealth and by a care team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Coaches with clinical expertise to manage care and outcomes for Ria Health members.
WORK AT RIA HEALTH AS A LEAD RECOVERY COACH
Ria Health is seeking a Lead Recovery Coach.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES and ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Intake (60%) - assessing and screening new members to the Ria Health program; triage members to available coaches; facilitate intake questionnaire; manage a small case of members
Manage (20%) - lead a team of approximately 8 coaches; able to motivate and engage with team; collaborate with team to manage and plan weekly and monthly workloads; plan and facilitate meetings to identify solutions for implementations; provide as needed 1-1 and/or supervision for licensure/certification; conduct performance improvement plans when needed
Training (5%) - train new hires in the coaching model; provide the new training coaching onboarding and facilitating training curriculum; support orientation and 30, 60, 90, follow up for new staff
Care Support (5%) - Be the first response in Ria Care team issues; facilitate care team issues to a resolution; troubleshoot care team issues using the virtual platform.
Quality Control (10%) - identify areas for process improvements in the Ria Health experiences; ensure fidelity checklist and benchmarks and documentation such as Joint commission (TJC) are met.
Attending team meetings, coaching syncs, and other related meetings
Collaborate with Product and Coaching team on program development
Maintain HIPAA and privacy standards and/or as determined by funding and accreditation
Continuous learning and change advocacy as determined by industry trends, community needs, and best practices.
Ability to work some evenings and/or weekends
As needed administrative tasks and member coverage
Acknowledgment that work may involve working with Protected Healthcare Information and agree to abide by all company policies and procedures for keeping that information secure and private.
Agree to work within the policies and procedures of Ria Health, including the Information Security, Acceptable Use, Remote Work/Teleworking, and the Monitoring and Recording policies. Violation of company policies may be grounds for discipline, up to and including termination.

Proficient in motivational interviewing to build motivation for behavioral change
Trains and evaluates coaches, provides individual mentoring
Upholds ethical standards and boundaries per IC&RC guidelines
Evaluates and refines workflows to optimize telehealth approach to AUD
Incorporates trauma-informed care principles and empathy into all interactions
Manages time, multitasks effectively and works proactively to solve organizational challenges.
Required skills and experience:
Certified as an alcohol and drug counselor in your state or equivalent to Advance Alcohol and Drug Counselor (AADC), CADC II (Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor), CADAC (Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor) II, LAADC (Licensed Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor), or MCAP (Master Certified Addiction Professional) or equivalent
Certification must be part of IC&RC (International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium) and able to apply for state reciprocity
3-5 years in AUD/ addiction treatment and/or mental health treatment
1-2 years in providing 1-1 supervision and/or providing supervision hours for certification
1-3 years experiences with managing teams, committees, and meetings
1-2 years experiences with being a senior trainer for an organization or related experience
1-2 years of experiences of facilitating intakes and swiftly formulating treatment plans
Degree of professionalism: understand diversity in perspectives, diplomatic in all interactions with stakeholders, finding win/win solutions, and being able to consistently role model behaviors they want to see.
Highly organized: comfortable creating or improving systems; able to work independently and providing projections; and strong time management skills.
Strong Communicator: Able to communicate technical and conceptual information to team members; keep staff motivated and engaged with their scope of work; provide as needed conflict resolution.
Strong Multitasker: able to balance a myriad of priorities; provide problem solving skills to problems identified; and able to find projects to improve Ria Health experience.
BA/BS and/or MA/MS master preferred
Secure private space with proper lighting to conduct video coaching sessions, team meeting, and maintain privacy compliance
Direct high-speed internet access to properly host video coaching sessions, team meetings and related meetings
Experience with virtual health/telehealth platforms
Experience with digital tools/software (Zoom, Gmail, G Suite, Microsoft Suite)
