General Position Summary

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Investment Officer/Vice President, Strategy, the Analyst will assist the investment team with due diligence, modeling, and monitoring of the portfolio of the Milton Hershey School, M.S. Hershey Foundation, and Hershey Cemetery Trusts. This is a generalist role with an emphasis on private markets. Responsibilities include analyzing and monitoring portfolio performance attribution and risk metrics in alignment with investment policies and guidelines. This role will assist senior investment staff with reviewing business terms within investment management agreements and will be responsible for follow-up on inquiries from managers including analysis of request and gathering and preparing necessary documentation. Additional responsibilities include assisting with ongoing portfolio monitoring via monthly analytics reporting, investment meeting reviews, preparing required documentation for trades and follow-up to any questions pertaining to trades.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong academic credentials and base of knowledge typically acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting required.
• Up to five (5) years of investment management experience in an institutional setting such as an endowment / foundation, pension plan, consultant, or asset management firm is preferred.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills as well as advanced proficiency to manage financial databases such as Bloomberg, analytical software and Microsoft products particularly Excel required.
• Progress toward/willingness to pursue CFA designation or other relevant certification strongly preferred.

This is a hybrid position with the expectation of being in the office in Hershey, PA two or more days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
