Job Title: Senior Quality Inspector Location: Des Moines, IA 50265 Area Code: 515, 641 Pay Rate: $30.00-$40.00/hour Employment Type: Full-time, direct hire with full benefits Shift: 1st Shift Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Inspector to join our team in Des Moines, IA. This role involves verifying incoming materials against blueprints, purchase orders, and certificates of compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supplier quality processes and a commitment to maintaining rigorous quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect products and documentation from suppliers to ensure conformity with specifications.
• Verify the quality and integrity of materials and assemblies against blueprint specifications, tolerances, corporate procedures, and customer requirements.
• Assist quality engineers and supply chain teams in resolving discrepancies.
• Manage and maintain documentation retention processes.
• Prepare for inspections by interpreting blueprints, data, and manuals to determine specifications and testing procedures.
• Review and verify supplier certificates of conformance and material certification paperwork for compliance with material, testing, and engineering requirements.
• Verify purchase order (PO) compliance and collaborate with the supply chain department to resolve discrepancies.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience and understanding of supplier certificates of conformance.
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying AS9102 requirements.
• Strong experience with various layout inspection techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Engineering Workbench tools and processes.
