POSITION SUMMARY:  Motor Coach Industries (MCI), North America’s top motor coach manufacturer, is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Inspector. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our high-quality standards for coaches built in our facility are met and to ensure the accuracy of all units delivered to customers. No prior experience in this specific role is necessary—we're willing to provide full training to the right candidate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Inspects coach build for quality and accuracy to MCI specifications and standards.
• Completes and updates required checklists and signs off all inspections and releases as per gateway requirements.
• Documents defects and re-inspects as required.
• Supports reduction of rework by highlighting repeat problems
• Assists with root cause problem solving where required
• Verifies production tests as required
• Assists other inspectors as required

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Must have or be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
• Sound Knowledge of MCI coaches and building process
• Demonstrated ability to focus on details to ensure quality is maintained at all times
• Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written
• Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems individually or as a team member and implement effective solutions.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a high volume and multiple demand environment considered an asset.
