CommQuest Services, Inc. is currently seeking an onsite Full-time Human Resources Assistant to support the Human Resources department. This role is vital to supporting the Human Resources department by managing the daily operations and ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and dedication to promoting a positive workplace environment. This highly visible role serves as the first point of contact for prospective employees, with exceptional customer service as its cornerstone.

CommQuest Services is one of the largest non-profit mental health, addiction recovery, and social services organizations in Northeast Ohio, working with clients from more than 34 counties in 12 facilities through more than 20 programs. We help people make positive changes in their lives through in-patient, outpatient and school-based programs, along with supportive services - from basic needs to employment assistance.

Some Typical Job Responsibilities Include

  • Serve as the point of contact for basic HR-related inquires, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Assists in the hiring process by coordinating job postings on websites, scheduling interviews, following up with hiring managers.
  • Support new hire onboarding, including preparing paperwork, facilitating details on orientations, access and equipment needs, and ensuring compliance with agency policies
  • Assist in scheduling and communicating continuing education opportunities and ongoing mandatory training.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including licensure, certification and training documentation.
  • Assist with audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including those specific to mental health services.
  • Help review and distribute updates to policies and procedures as needed.
  • Assists leadership team members and employee groups with special events, community trainings, speakers, and projects.
  • Manage schedules, e-mails, and communications for HR and Executive team as needed and requested and more!

Schedule:

Monday - Friday. Dayshift. Must be onsite.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of employee information
  • Familiarity with human resource terms and policies
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products, specifically calendar management
  • Technical understanding of HRIS products

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or 3 years relevant working experience.
  • Experience in ATS and HRIS systems is preferred, prior work in healthcare is a plus.
  • Proficient in Outlook, with exceptional calendar management skills.
