Frontend / Web Development Engineers

We're looking for Frontend/Web Developers to design and develop dynamic, high-performance user interfaces for our cutting-edge football platform.

About the Role

As a Frontend/Web Developer , you will work with a talented team to create responsive, user-friendly, and visually stunning web applications. Your expertise will help ensure that OleOle provides an engaging and seamless experience for football fans worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop dynamic, responsive, and performant web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, user-centric interfaces.
• Ensure compatibility across multiple devices and screen sizes using responsive web design principles and CSS frameworks.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services via RESTful APIs or GraphQL, ensuring efficient state management.
• Optimize web performance, focusing on faster page loads, lazy loading, and minimizing render-blocking resources.
• Maintain clean, modular, and scalable codebases for long-term sustainability.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 3-5 years in front-end or web development.

Skills:

• Modern Front-End Frameworks: Expertise in React, Vue, or Svelte, with a solid understanding of state management (e.g., Redux, Vuex).
• Responsive Web Design: Proficiency in building responsive interfaces with CSS frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap, and experience with media queries.
• JavaScript/TypeScript: Advanced skills in JavaScript (ES6+) with a strong preference for TypeScript for type-safe applications.
• UX/UI Best Practices: Ability to work collaboratively with UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• API Integration: Hands-on experience integrating web apps with RESTful or GraphQL APIs and managing asynchronous data effectively.
• Web Performance Optimization: Knowledge of techniques like lazy loading, reducing render-blocking resources, and improving overall load times.

   • Experience working with Rust-based web frameworks such as Yew , Seed , or Dioxus for frontend development.
   • Knowledge of Rust libraries like Actix or Rocket for backend integrations, which could enhance collaboration with other teams.

2. Type Safety & Memory Management

   • Understanding of Rust’s strong type system and memory safety guarantees, and how they can be leveraged in frontend and API integration tasks.

3. WebAssembly (WASM)

   • Experience using Rust with WebAssembly to build highly efficient frontend modules or components.

4. Modern Front-End Skills

   • While frameworks like React or Vue remain relevant for rapid development, the ability to integrate or replace them with Rust-based solutions is key.
   • A good grasp of JavaScript/TypeScript is still important for interoperability with existing or legacy frontend tools.

5. API Integration with Rust

   • Ability to build or consume APIs directly using Rust libraries like Reqwest or Hyper .
