Fraud Investigator (Customer Service) (CCO102)

As a  Customer Service Fraud Investigator , your focus is applying fact-finding methods to investigate potential fraudulent activity . You’ll seek to achieve the optimal balance between customer experience and fraud prevention through interaction with callers . It’ll be a highly collaborative team environment, colleagues supporting customers as well as each other!

WHAT OUR FRAUD INVESTIGATORS ENJOY MOST

  • Evaluating and processing identity theft and customer validation claims
  • Assisting team leaders with escalated issues
  • Identifying and presenting opportunities for improved operational procedures
  • Working on a wide variety of investigations

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Fraud training: 3 years, Resolving difficult and escalated issues: 3 years
  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of cable/telecom operations, detection and analysis, and laws/regulations related to fraud and risk management
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication with coworkers and customers 
  • Schedule: Some travel required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables and limited standardization 
  • Extensive knowledge of billing cycles and cross divisional procedures
  • Effective organization and time management when multitasking
