Construction Projects Consultant I- Project Manager #7030022

 

This advertisement is for a full-time, Career Service position with the Region 3 Maintenance Office for Facilities Management and Building Construction.

 

Salary: $41,561.57 annually

SPECIFIC DUTIES

This is a highly advanced position requiring at least one year of professional work experience in managing work order maintenance software and contract management. The position is responsible for managing, overseeing, and updating the departments work order system. This position is responsible for managing all contracts for regional facilities and completing operation reviews.

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develops work plans, project budgets, and project schedules.
  • Serves as the AIM administrator for the region.
  • Responsible for all AIM reporting and training.
  • Manages all contracts for regional maintenance.
  • Establishes specifications, prepares bid packages, analyzes bids and recommends awards.
  • Makes periodic visits to facilities to review maintenance issues and resolves problems.
  • Reviews and approves invoices.
  • Coordinates and assists regional staff with Quarterly audits and preparing for American Corrections Association.
  • Conducts operational reviews of regional facilities.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/MINIMUMS

  • At least one (1) years of professional work experience in managing work order maintenance software and contract management
  • Minimum of three (3) or more years of experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A valid driver’s license

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in AIMS.
