Job Description

Saint Patrick Catholic School is seeking Substitute Teachers. Substitute Teachers support the mission of our school and provided support when teachers or aides are absent from school. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing coverage for absent teachers
• Working to ensure students are able to meet learning goals
• Delivering lesson plans as appropriate
• Supervising students throughout the school day
• Monitoring and maintaining regular class attendance
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 90 college credits
• Experience working with children in a school setting
• Ability to maintain a well-managed, positive learning environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills
• Criminal history background check and Protecting God’s Children training required
