Digital Marketing & Communications Manager Location Cerritos, CA :

Founded in 2007, The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation (TOI) is advancing oncology by delivering highly specialized, value-based cancer care in the community setting. TOI is dedicated to offering cutting edge, evidence-based cancer care to a population of more than 1.7 million patients including clinical trials, stem cell transplants, transfusions, and other care delivery models traditionally associated with the most advanced care delivery organizations. With 100+ employed clinicians and more than 800 teammates in 60+ clinic locations and growing. TOI is changing oncology for the better.

The Digital Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing digital internal and external marketing and communication strategies that enhance TOI's public presence, drive investor and teammate engagement, and achieve organizational objectives. This leader will plan, execute, and monitor various digital marketing campaigns and coordinate communication efforts across multiple online channels. This includes planning, developing, and executing both internal and external communication strategies to foster a well-informed, engaged, and cohesive workforce.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

External Communications Management:

  • Create and curate high-quality content for the website, Intranet, social media platforms, and email campaigns.
  • Ensure that content is engaging, informative, and aligns with brand messaging.
  • Manage a content calendar and regularly update content to stay relevant and fresh.
  • Partner with PR and IR firms to obtain opportunities to feature TOI and its leaders in earned media channels and industry publications.

Internal Communications:

  • In collaboration with the CPO, develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication strategy aligned with TOI's Mission/Vision/Values.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of internal communication efforts through key performance indicators (KPIs) and feedback from employees.

Digital Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with overall organizational goals.
  • Identify, tailor, and develop marketing efforts for TOI's patient and payor population.
  • Utilize SEO, PPC, email marketing, and other digital channels to drive traffic and generate patient leads.
  • Developing digital and social strategies in alignment with Talent Acquisition hiring needs including SEM, Google Ads, and Featured Content for recruitment material.
  • Working with Talent Acquisition to review and enhance digital & hard copy content, including, but not limited to recruitment marketing 1-pagers, career fair flyers, and personas.

Social Media Management:

  • Manage and maintain TOI's social media profiles on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and others.
  • Develop and implement social media campaigns to promote the brand and engage with patients and payors.

Email Marketing:

  • Create and execute email marketing campaigns to curate leads, retain patients/payors, and communicate important updates.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of digital marketing efforts.
  • Generate reports, analyze data, and provide insights to make data-driven decisions.

Public Relations:

  • Manage TOI's online reputation and PR efforts.
  • Coordinate with external PR agencies when necessary.
  • Respond to online reviews, comments, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Other Duties:

  • Participate in enterprise work, projects, and duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing and communications for an established organization in the healthcare, consumer goods, technology or financial services sector.
  • Public company experience preferred but not required.
  • Oncology experience preferred but not required.
