We are seeking a Carpenter/Furniture Fabrication Lead with experience in leading people and a strong understanding of capentitry and building furniture with an attention to detail. 

Job Description

• Lead and supervise the millwork/furniture assembly team to achieve production goals.
• Train and mentor team members on assembly techniques and safety protocols.
• Inspect assembled products for quality and adherence to company standards.
• Collaborate with management to develop assembly schedules and timelines.
• Address and resolve issues during the assembly process.
• High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills during the production process.
• Assist with the warehouse team during down times, operating fork lift and preparing orders for shipment as required

Qualifications

• Proven history of carpentry work on furniture pieces or related products
• Competent using wood working machinery, power tools and associated hardware. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to read and interpret work shop drawings, blue prints and assembly instructions to produce product as required
• Ability to work independently while setting production timelines to meet customer needs
• Knowledge of wood staining, prepping and finishing practices
• Strong leadership skills as lead of the millwork/furniture assembly team
• Fluent in English (Spanish beneficial but not essential)
• Forklift certified, or willing to complete a course upon hire
• Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), and weekends as production needs require

Salary: $23-25/hr
