District Partners is currently working with a top-tier entertainment firm in the Nashville market as they are looking to add to their internal accounting team.  This position will report directly to the Controller and will play an integral role in leading monthly close activities, as well as assisting with budgeting and forecasting efforts on a quarterly basis.  This group has been a long-standing client of ours, and if you are someone who values culture and work-life balance, this is a perfect opportunity to ensure that those boxes are checked for you!

Responsibilities Include:

• A/R and A/Ps
• Payroll, Employee reimbursements
• Company credit card statements
• 401K updates, reports, eligibility/Review of Benefit invoices
• Client maintenance, invoices/billbacks
• Local Taxes/non-taxed sales
• Account reconciliations
• Maintenance and distribution of assorted company reports/flowcharts/databases
• Weekly Reports (Insurance, Balances, etc.)
• Special projects

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or another related field is required
• Minimum 2+ years' experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar position is required
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PDF
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and planning skills
