Busy service which means more available sold hours for the right experienced line technician! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background, dealership experience preferred. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done. Your Responsibilities:* Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures
- Multi-Point inspections and clear time spent checking each and every vehicle under your watch!
- Test-driven vehicles, and testing for components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Regular communication with service writers to ensure clear messaging to the service client
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Properly written CCC on repair orders!
What you Bring to the Table:* 3+ years of Service Technician experience (Dealership Experience no required but preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent, (ASE Certification preferred)
- At-Least B technician level qualifications; well-versed on Light Steering, Suspension, Brakes and Basic Diagnostic Skills
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Team oriented with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
