Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. This role requires a strong understanding of production management principles, lean manufacturing practices, and effective supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations to ensure production targets are met.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage production planning and scheduling to optimize resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain systems for effective inventory management and supply chain coordination.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational performance.
• Provide mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and facilitate fabrication processes.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to foster a high-performing team culture.

Skills

• Proven experience in production management with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
• Strong background in process improvement techniques.
• Excellent mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to fabricate components as needed for production needs.
• Familiarity with quality control measures and standards within the industry.
• Knowledge of supply chain management practices to ensure seamless operations.

Experience:

• Production management: 2 years (Required)
• Slitter operator: 1 year (Preferred)
